Kelreva

Privacy notice

Effective October 9, 2026 · Operated by Adam Hong

This notice covers the Kelreva website and default verification service. If you choose a different backend, its operator’s privacy practices also apply.

What we process

When you choose Verify, Kelreva sends the selected answer, its associated question, and any context you explicitly submit to its server. It also sends an installation identifier and account credentials to authenticate the request. It does not send your entire browsing history or automatically submit every conversation.

OpenAI receives submitted text and retrieved evidence to identify and assess claims. Tavily receives search queries derived from your text to find public sources. These queries can include details from your conversation.

AWS provides backend hosting and account sign-in. It handles your email and authentication information. Kelreva’s account database stores identifiers, consent, account activity timestamps, and plan information, rather than your password or conversation history. Your browser stores your session, email, and preferences.

How we use it

We use this information to run verification, manage accounts and usage limits, secure the service, and resolve problems. We do not sell personal information or use conversation content for advertising.

Kelreva follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use and share extension data only to provide or improve the verification service, for security, or as required by law. Human access to user content is limited to your explicit consent or permitted security and legal needs.

How long information stays

  • Verification text: processed in memory; we do not keep a verification-history database.
  • Search cache: general search results are reused for up to 15 minutes. Expired results can remain in server memory until removed or the server restarts.
  • Backend and gateway logs: request metadata, which may include IP addresses, has a seven-day retention setting. The hosting service may take additional time to complete removal.
  • Account records: kept while the account exists, then removed after a verified deletion request. The current account database has a 35-day recovery window.
  • Support messages: kept while resolving your request and for up to 90 days afterward, unless needed longer for an ongoing security issue or legal obligation.

Our providers apply their own processing and retention policies. Disabling stored OpenAI responses does not eliminate all provider retention. See OpenAI’s data controls, Tavily’s privacy policy, AWS’s privacy notice, and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for website hosting.

Your choices and contact

You can stop verification, withdraw consent, or sign out in account settings. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your account.

For support, access, correction, or deletion requests, email adamhong2029@gmail.com. We verify account ownership before deleting account data. See how to request deletion.

Material changes to how we handle your information will be disclosed before they take effect.
